General Questions & Concept (What is ComPost?)

1. What is ComPost? expand_more
ComPost is a productivity mobile app that turns your voice into ready-made, formatted texts and work materials using artificial intelligence.
2. Why do I need compostprompts.com if there is an app? expand_more
The website acts as a global library and an integration showcase. It collects the best scenarios and prompts for different professions. Also, the website allows you to conveniently manage your personal prompts. Typing and editing text on a phone may not be as comfortable as on a computer. Therefore, you can always create and customize prompts in your personal account on the website, getting instant two-way synchronization between the web version and your mobile app.
3. Can the website itself process my voice requests? expand_more
No. The website is exclusively an information hub and catalog. All computational work, transcription, and result generation take place exclusively through the native app on your smartphone.
4. For what tasks is the app best suited? expand_more
For any routine text tasks: writing emails, creating social media posts, setting tasks for developers, preparing SEO meta tags, structuring chaotic thoughts, or creating reports on the go.
5. On what platforms is ComPost available? expand_more
Currently, the app is an exclusive for the Android operating system and is available for download on Google Play.
6. Does the app work without the internet? expand_more
The app requires an active internet connection to work. The network is necessary for fast transcription of your voice and communication with powerful language models (LLMs).
7. Can I type text manually if I don’t want to speak? expand_more
No. The system does not currently provide manual text input. ComPost is primarily a smart voice recorder designed for the fastest voice interaction and processing of your thoughts on the go.
8. Does the app support tablets and foldables? expand_more
Yes, the app functions on all Android devices. The interface adapts to wide screens, and in future updates (with the release of Android 16), support for flexible screens will become even more native.
9. In what interface languages is the website and app available? expand_more
We support full multilingualism. Currently, the ecosystem (including navigation and the prompt library) is fully localized into English, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Data Privacy and Security

10. Do you store my voice recordings on your servers? expand_more
No. We adhere to a strict Zero Retention policy. Your audio recording temporarily reaches a secure server (AWS) solely for voice-to-text translation, after which the file is permanently destroyed by automatic lifecycle rules.
11. Can anyone listen to what I dictate? expand_more
This is technically impossible. The transcription process is fully automated and performed by algorithms. No one from the development team has access to your audio files.
12. Where are the finished texts produced by the AI stored? expand_more
All generated texts and structured data are stored **exclusively locally** on your smartphone. We do not synchronize or store your text history on our servers.
13. Is it safe to dictate commercial secrets or personal data? expand_more
All data transmission between your phone and processing servers is encrypted using modern protocols (HTTPS/TLS). Since the texts remain only on your device, the risk of leakage from ComPost servers is reduced to zero.
14. Are my requests used to train neural networks? expand_more
No. We use closed commercial APIs of language models, which, according to the terms of their licensing agreements, do not have the right to use user data (your audio and texts) to additionally train their public algorithms.
15. What will happen to my data if I delete the app? expand_more
Since your request history and finished texts are stored in the phone’s memory itself, when you delete the ComPost app, all this data will be permanently erased from your device.
16. Do the developers have access to my personal prompts? expand_more
If you create a prompt for personal use within the app, it stays only with you. The same applies to prompts downloaded from our library β€” once they are in your app, they become your local data. We only see the prompts that you yourself decide to publish in the official catalog on the site.
17. Is your cloud infrastructure secure? expand_more
Yes. We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) industry security standards with strict access policies configured and automatic deletion of temporary files.
18. Do you collect usage analytics? expand_more
We only collect anonymized technical data, such as crash logs. This helps us find and quickly fix bugs in the code without affecting your personal information.
19. Who owns the copyright to the generated texts? expand_more
All rights to the texts created using ComPost according to your requests belong exclusively to you.

Working with Prompts and the Library

20. What is a prompt in the ComPost ecosystem? expand_more
A prompt is a pre-configured scenario (instruction for AI). Instead of explaining to the neural network every time who you are and in what format you need an answer, you simply select a ready-made prompt (for example, ‘Reply politely to a customer complaint’) and dictate only the essence of the problem.
21. How do I import a prompt from the website into the app? expand_more
Go to the compostprompts.com website from your smartphone, find the desired prompt, and click the add button. Thanks to Deep Links technology, the prompt will be saved in your ComPost app.
22. Can I create my own prompts? expand_more
Yes. The app allows you to construct personal scenarios, customizing the AI’s behavior for your specific, highly professional tasks.
23. Can I share my prompts with colleagues? expand_more
No, a built-in prompt sharing function within the app itself is not yet provided. However, prompts are essentially just text instructions. You can always copy the text of your prompt and pass it on to colleagues in any convenient way (for example, via messenger or corporate email).
24. How is using your prompts better than a regular chat with AI? expand_more
The main differences are the highest accuracy, time saving, and the convenience of working with voice:

– **Accuracy and separation of task/context:** In a regular chat, you have to describe the task from scratch every time. In ComPost, the **task** itself (AI role, style, format) is already laid down in the prompt in advance, and it can be detailed even for two pages. You can set this algorithm as accurately as possible. And with your voice, you dictate only the **context** (a specific situation or thought, literally in 2-3 words).

– **Advanced voice work:** No standard AI chat offers background voice recording capabilities, as well as the function of repeatedly processing the same dictated message with different prompts.
25. Will new prompts be added to the site? expand_more
Definitely. The compostprompts.com library is regularly updated with new professional scenarios for various industries.
26. How do I find a prompt for my profession? expand_more
The site has a convenient category system. In the menu, you can choose the direction you are interested in: marketing, development, copywriting, management, and others.
27. If I change the website language, will the prompts change? expand_more
Yes, thanks to the localization system, you will see prompts adapted and translated for the selected language environment (English, Russian, or Ukrainian).
28. Can I edit a prompt downloaded from the website? expand_more
After the prompt is in your app, you can make any changes to it to better tailor it to your needs.

Accuracy, AI and Technical Nuances

29. What neural networks are used to process text? expand_more
Under the hood of ComPost runs a complex routing architecture that uses the most modern and powerful LLMs (Large Language Models) to ensure the highest quality of formatting and logic.
30. How accurately do the algorithms recognize voice? expand_more
We use advanced transcription engines that perfectly understand context, cope with different accents, professional terms, and light background noise.
31. What if the AI misunderstood my thought? expand_more
You always have the power to press the cancel button, edit the received text manually right in the app, or quickly dictate the command again with the necessary clarification.
32. Can the app provide incorrect information (hallucinate)?? expand_more
The app strictly follows your voice instructions and the logic of the prompt. However, like any AI, when requested to generate facts, it can make mistakes. We recommend always quickly checking the final text.
33. Are there limits on the length of a single voice recording? expand_more
The app is designed for fast and concise commands, but the system is able to process long, detailed streams of thoughts without losing meaning.
34. Is the app optimized for modern smartphones? expand_more
Absolutely. ComPost is developed using the most modern native frameworks (Jetpack Compose). The app supports smooth animations and is ready for new Android design standards (such as Edge-to-edge).
35. Will the interface adapt to the phone’s dark theme? expand_more
Yes, the app fully supports both light and dark system themes, switching automatically depending on your smartphone’s settings.
36. Where do I write if I found a bug or want to suggest an idea? expand_more
We are always open to feedback! Write to admin@compostprompts.com or leave a detailed review on the app page in Google Play.
